Ordering Information for Bush Medicine of the Bahamas

Option 1 (Bahamas only): If you are a resident of the Bahamas, the most economical option is to purchase the book locally from a retailer in the Bahamas (or use Option 2 or 3 below). The following locations have the book in stock:

Option 2 (All countries - shipped by a 3rd party in the U.S.): Make arrangements with a friend or family member in the U.S. who can deliver the book to you in person, or has experience shipping items to you. The book is shipped to your specified U.S. destination via Media Mail for $37.00 plus $6.55 shipping (includes delivery confirmation). Delivery by Media Mail typically takes 2 to 8 days, depending on the destination and time of year. If an order is sent to a Virginia address, $1.85 sales tax (5%) will be added. Orders are shipped twice a week, typically on Tuesday and Friday.

Option 2 (shipping and delivery confirmation included)
Option 3 (Most countries - shipped by the U.S. publisher): Because the book is large (11" x 9 "x 1") and heavy (3 pounds), it must be shipped at the 4-pound rate. We have no control over the shipping rates which are expensive. If possible, please use the other options above. Note that your credit card company may charge an international transaction fee (typically 1%)for international payments. This usually appears on your credit card statement as a separate line item. The customer is responsible for any taxes, import duties, or customs restrictions (if applicable). Sometimes, depending on the country, delivery may delayed several days if the package is inspected by customs. All international orders are subject to approval prior to shipping. If you require additional services, such as Registered Mail ($12.95), or if you have questions before placing your order, please send your questions to BahamaBushMedicine@gmail.com Be sure to include your complete address which is needed to calculate the shipping rate. In some countries, the rate depends on the delivery destination within the country. Insurance is not available for First Class Mail International, but we obtain a certificate of mailing to certify that the package has been mailed to your destination. Your purchase indicates acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
First Class Mail International Allow 7 to 21 days for delivery, but varies by destination (does not include delay in customs, if applicable). See the table below for the shipping cost and available services included with shipping:

Insurance and return receipt are not available for First Class International mail.
The customs declaration number can be used for tracking.

When prompted during check out, enter the total country cost from shipping table above. An e-mail confimation will be sent after your order is reviewed and approved for shipping (usually the same day). Your purchase is fully refundable until the order ships.
Option 4 (E-book for selected countries): Currently available in PDF format. This is primarily for countries where we do not have distributors and therefore difficult or expensive to ship individual physical books. For additional information see E-book Orders. Terms and Conditions (for shipping options 2 and 3): Books that have been shipped may be returned for a refund if the book is in its original condition (including the shrink wrap) on the date it was purchased. A 20% restocking fee applies on international returns. Out-bound and in-bound shipping fees are not refundable.
